There are a number of simple steps you can take to be a part of the solution to climate change and ensure the CCUS community receives the support it needs.

1.) Sign up

Sign up to receive our newsletter and stay informed. We'll keep you up to date on the latest developments in the CCUS world and show you new ways to get involved.

2.) Donate

Donate to charities that offset your carbon emissions - especially when you fly! One such charity, Cool Effect, allows you to donate money to projects that remove CO2 from the atmosphere. You can calculate just how much you'd have to donate to offset a flight, for example. Find them here.

3.) Join

Join your local Citizens' Climate Lobby chapter. They're pushing for a bi-partisan carbon fee and dividend that would allow CCUS technologies to flourish. Find your specific chapter here.

4.) VOTE!

We need the right politicians in office. Policy is absolutely crucial when it comes to CCUS. A perfect example of this is the recently passed 45Q tax credits. Your vote really does matter and can make a huge difference! Find out how to register here.

5.) Lower

Lower your CO2 emissions. Eat less meat (especially red meat), buy fewer products, improve the efficiency of your home, fly and drive less, recycle. One of many helpful guides that shows how one can lower their carbon footprint can be found here.

6.) SPREAD THE WORD!

CCUS allows for climate change to be presented with a hopeful and exciting message. People will be more receptive when hearing about climate change solutions that are innovative and benefit the economy, national security, and job creation.
